In my wildest dream's I never thought poker would get this big. When I left Reno, Nv, in 2002 poker was dying. Then when I came back in 2005, every casino had a poker room.
I have started a blog to help people win money in real live poker games and also online poker rooms. What you see on TV is tourament poker. Live poker is much different.

Limt texas hold and no-limt are 2 differnet games.
To start out you should play limit texas holdem. Because you are going to make many mistakes. No way of getting around it.Say you buy in $100 and play 2-4 limit (each bet is 2 dollars, before the flop and after,4th street and the river are 4 bets) Even if you lose, you will some money left.
If you start out in no-limit, buy in a $100 and get it all in and lose, it hurts. For some players it may help them to speed up their learning curve.

To win real money in online poker games it is the same 4. But beware, online players play faster and more bad starting hands. ( nobody is watching them ) So your swings ( when you win and lose, will be bigger)
Now to some of you, you already know these things,to others this may be greek. But I plan to write many articles. And even if you are advanced player, or a new player,hopefully you might pick up a thing or 2.
